Hora ruit, hora est

Time is ticking, it's time! You decide what time that is. Anyway, you've landed on this new website called LGB.com. That's short for laserguidedbomb.com. LGB is a portal to cool things. It's a way to discover great things by neglecting the so called "old' media. Who needs them nowadays? Also we have no opinion at all. Opinions are like asses. Everyone has one. But if you want to read an opinion by LGB than you can order one by paying for it. And that's a valuable opinion for sure. But more on that right next to this row . We at LGB work hard, and also on the content of this website. It's not complete yet. And will it ever be? For starters we have some cool bands, books and websites to check out.
We'll blow your mind

And it started all with:
Kyuss, the 'stoner' band!

Ever heard of a music category called Stonerrock? It's a stupid name to categorize bands playing just cool groovy rock music that was inspired by the mighty riffs of the 70's and beyond. The mother of all heavy groove rock bands was Kyuss. Never heard of? Does Josh Homme ring a bell? Well he played guitar in Kyuss before he became a rock star in QOTSA. For us at LGB it all started with a videoclip of Kyuss of the song Green Machine.

Then it started to spread:
Neurosis came across

Curious as ever we started to look for equal cool bands like Kyuss. Well there was a big void. But finally there was this cd-sampler with a song 'Eye' from a band called Neurosis. Whoa what is this? Finally got this cd of Neurosis called 'Through Silver in Blood'. This was even more overwhelming then Kyuss was. Unbelievable or what. But true. In 2007 Neurosis peaked with their release called 'Given to the Rising'. It's almost a 'religious' event to listen to the cd. Even though we're not into that at all. But it describes it the best. Also the concert of Neurosis at the 2007 Roadburn Festival was amazing. But even beter was their live concert in Koln in 2008. Man that playlist. Also Neurisis uses a special VJ-artist to perfect their live performance. How about that? Anyway, try to find some songs and buy their shit. You won't be disappointed.

The search continued:
Dozer from Sweden

So now and then you find a band that makes one euphorious. Well Dozer from Sweden is a band that makes you happy. Makes you smile. They have an overdose of monolithic guitar riffs. A singer every band wants to have, and their rhytm section is first class. Every song people can remember and sing along after the fisrt hearing. They sound like a bulging T-rex from hell. Heavy as heavy was meant to mean. They started as a "stonerrrock" band but nowadays in 2009 they play more sophisticated rock, metal or what ever. Well to make a long story short, just check'm out. On cd, vinyl and playing live as well.

Want a valuable opinion?

So here we are. As we stated before, we try not to have an opinion at all. Are you sick and tired of hearing and reading mega loads of worthless personal opinions lately? Same over here!

But hey, if you still want to know what we, at LGB, have to say anyways, then you can have it .

To cut the BS. Well boys and girls, you can order one right here at LGB. Just by paying us some dough. To be exact, two Euro that is.
Just send an email and we let you know where to drop the cash. Once we have recieved the loot we send you this opinion by email. That's value for money. How about that? It's up to you.
